Wonderful Stay in Hampshire!
friendly staff delicious food lovely swimming pool fine gardens
I arrived on March 22nd and stayed until the 25th. The hotel staff are lovely and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them! The food was delicious, and the hotel was decorated with Easter touches. The swimming pool was perfect. I had it all to myself every morning. The gardens are well-kept and fine.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot for exploring the New Forest area.. it's a super convenient base for various excursions. I found it very accessible to the key attractions and scenic routes.

I enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. The outdoor pool had reopened and was heated, such a treat, even in September! There is also a croquet lawn and tennis courts for guest use.

The meals were superb, a real testament to the chef's skills. Breakfast was very good and offered plenty of options. I particularly appreciated the view of the gardens from the dining room.

All the staff I encountered were helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. The team clearly works hard to maintain a high standard of hospitality.

ample parking maintained gardens indoor pool
i found ample parking upon arrival, a definite plus. the gardens are extensive and beautifully maintained. the indoor pool area includes a sauna, providing relaxation after a day exploring the surrounding area.
the coffee machine in the room made a bit too much noise.

single key inconvenient policy
the grounds were quite lovely. a lovely lawn had tables available for drinks.
i found the single key policy inconvenient. we needed a second key and the hotel could not provide one.

A Truly Fine Stay!
attractive location excellent value
The staff provided excellent, polite, attentive service. The hotel is comfortable and set in an attractive location. The deal offered was excellent value. We will certainly recommend it to our friends. The whole experience was great.

Our Superior Double Room was very clean. The room also had French doors. These doors led directly out to the gardens. It was lovely to walk outside at any time.
